More About Ashlyn

Ashlyn has worked in veterinary medicine since 2020. She was a pre-veterinary student at NC State before deciding to pursue her passion as a veterinary assistant, where she found her true calling. From 2022 to 2025, she served as a Senior Veterinary Assistant, building strong clinical skills and a deep commitment to patient care.

Ashlyn chose a career in veterinary medicine because she has always wanted to work with animals and never considered doing anything else. She joined 5-Points Animal Hospital after hearing from others in the close-knit veterinary community that it was a truly great place to work, and she’s found that everything she heard is true.

She believes 5-Points stands apart because patients, clients, and team members are all valued highly. After working in the corporate setting, she is especially excited to be part of a private practice where relationships and quality of care come first. Her philosophy is simple: Happy Team Members = Happy, Healthy Pets.

In her spare time, Ashlyn loves spending time with horses, reading, playing games, and caring for her own pets.
