The 5-Points Animal Hospital team is a carefully selected group of passionate animal lovers, all deeply committed to our patients’ health, safety, and comfort. We have very high standards for the people we choose to help us care for your pet. We’ve built a close-knit family that supports each other’s personal and career growth. We help each other maintain a healthy work-life balance by nurturing a community of kindness, respect, and gratitude.

Kevin

Dr. Kevin Wilson | Co-Founder

Dr. Kevin first thought about becoming a veterinarian in middle school when he fell in love with his first dog, Brandy. He worked for a veterinary hospital in high school, and after experiencing the deep bonds of affection between pets and their owners, he found his future. Dr. Kevin graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He spent the next 15 years as a partner and medical director at one of the largest veterinary practices in the Seattle region. Dr. Kevin and Scott moved to North Carolina over five years ago. Since then, Dr. Kevin has cared for Raleigh area pets at two practices, most recently as Medical Director of Quail Corners Animal Hospital. He and Scott opened 5-Points Animal Hospital to bring their experience, vision, and energy to a holistic pet-and-owner-centered veterinary practice in Fuquay-Varina.

Scott Wilson | Co-Founder Hospital Administrator

Caring for animals has been a passion of Scott’s throughout his life. He supported Dr. Kevin when he built the hospital system in Washington State and while his veterinary care contributed to the success of practices in North Carolina. Scott’s extensive business background includes managing multiple medical offices in several states, including finance, marketing, team development, and training. For the past 11 years, he has been a stay-at-home dad, caring for their two daughters, two dogs, and two cats.

Toni O'Neill, DVM
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. O’Neill’s lifelong interest in helping make a difference in animals’ lives started when growing up on her grandparents’ dairy farm in Donegal, Ireland. She pursued this goal by earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology, Pre-Vet Track, from the University of Iowa. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Iowa State University, during which she completed a Student Mentorship as an intern with a national pet hospital chain. She joined our team after three years as an Associate Veterinarian with a large practice in Colorado. Dr. O’Neill was attracted to our animal hospital because she saw that Dr. Kevin and Scott truly care about our pets, their owners, and our team, building a work environment that reflects this authenticity.

Julia Williams, DVM
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Williams chose to pursue a career as a veterinarian because she cherishes the human/animal bond. This profession allows her to protect the health of pets to the benefit of the people who love them. She was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) by Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Williams chose to join our team because of the high quality of the collaborative medicine we practice and the utmost compassion with which we treat our patients and their owners.

Clinical Care Coordinator

Rhiannon is certified as a Veterinary Assistant and is pursuing an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She knew from a young age she wanted a career that provided hands-on involvement with animals. Rhiannon enjoys learning about and using the most advanced technology to provide the highest quality care and treating each pet as if they were her own. She and Dr. Kevin previously worked together, and she was delighted to join his new team.

Kareema J.
Registered Veterinary Technician

Kareema always knew she wanted to work in the medical field and combining that desire with her love for animals made her career decision very easy. She completed her Veterinary Technician training at Miller-Motte College in Raleigh. Since then, Kareema has cared for animals at three larger animal hospitals, most recently an urgent care clinic. The open and transparent way in which Dr. Kevin and Scott manage the practice compelled her to join our team.

Clinical Care Team

Devan’s grandfather always cared for strays and injured wildlife, passing this connection with animals in need to her. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from North Carolina State University. Her professional career includes working as a Pet Care Specialist/Doggie Daycare Attendant and Guest Service Specialist at a preeminent pet hotel and as a Veterinarian Assistant for a national chain of practices. She is passionate about caring for all types of animals, especially her dog, Willow.

For Lindsay, the appeal of a career in veterinary medicine is the opportunity to help our companion animals who can’t speak for themselves. She brings four years of experience working for a busy national chain of animal hospitals as a Veterinary Assistant to her position at 5-Points

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining our team, she worked at two much larger animal hospitals. She appreciates the opportunity to work with a committed group of professionals who look out for each other’s best interests while practicing quality medicine.

Becca brings five years of experience as a Client Service Representative. She is passionate about animals of all shapes and sizes, including livestock and reptiles. Her favorite parts of her job are building relationships with pets and their owners, as well as continuously learning about veterinary medicine. She encourages owners to utilize the extra time that Dr. Kevin provides during their consultations to ask as many questions as they wish about their pets and his recommendations for their care.

Client Service Representative

Kelsea has extensive experience working and saving animals through previous positions as a Kennel Attendant, Client Service Representative, and Veterinary Technician at two busy animal hospitals. She is also an active volunteer at animal rescue organizations. Kelsea is very happy to have joined our team because our approach is more caring, friendly, and patient—and owner-focused than larger, more impersonal veterinary practices.
